Can Christians do any better?

It’s all well and good to point out flaws in the atheistic view of morality’s origin and relevance, but the question remains: can Christians do any better? After all, if they can’t, then there really isn’t much point in their nit-picking the atheist’s worldview except as an intellectual exercise.

To understand why this is, let’s first consider the question: what makes a moral system objective? In my view, there are two essential criteria:

1) It must be based on a standard that cannot change.

2) It must be universal, or in other words, applicable to all human beings.
